The things I love almost as much as traveling are thinking about traveling, talking about traveling, watching TV shows about people traveling, reading blogs and books about people traveling. I have traveled over 40 countries and have enjoyed the amazing culture, people, food, sights, sounds and places to stay. Some of my favorite experiences have been exploring my ancestors home country Italy (Matera is a must see), coming face to face with the mountain gorillas in Rwanda’s rainforest, shopping in the souks of Merrakech, staying in gorgeous restored riads within Morocco’s ancient city walls, watching the sunset over the sand dunes in the Sahara Desert and sleeping in a luxurious bedouin tent, watching the leopards and large herds of elephants roaming in Sri Lanka’s Yala national park, riding camels through the lost city of Petra, scuba diving with huge manta rays and sharks in Maldives, watching the morning mist rise from the Ngorongoro Crater from a five star lodge perched on the edge of the caldera, hiking to Tiger’s Nest in mysterious Bhutan, hiking 80km over the Salkantay pass to Machu Picchu……and much more!
